Answers to Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Smoking is permitted on the grounds and verandas only. No smoking in the units.
  2. Unlimited Hi-Speed DSL internet access available in all rooms, at a cost of $25.00 U.S. Dollars per week. Bring your laptop.
  3. Telephones in all rooms.
  4. There are ATM machines on the island which accept visa, MasterCard, Plus and Cirrus; you can also bring cash, travelers checks, or credit cards. Majority shops and restaurants will honor credit cards. Money exchange is simple, $1.00US=$2.00BZ
  5. All rooms are equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, blender, coffeemaker, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, TV's.
  6. All units are air conditioned, and also have ceiling fans.
  7. We are located one block south of the airstrip right on the edge of town for an easy walk to us and to town after you have arrived. If you have a lot of luggage, take taxi over and we will pay. We are approx. a three minute walk to the supermarket and a 5 minute walk from the center of town.
  8. The Palms will provide you with "first day" of coffee and a gallon of fresh cool purified drinking water. You can purchase more water at our office at $2.00 U.S. per gallon.
  9. We are happy to stock your fridge with cold beer/sodas before your arrival, just ask! Special requests are welcome.
  10. All of our units have pullout sofa beds. Kids under 12 sleep free!
  11. All of our units are ocean front with private verandas, with the exception of our poolside "Casita".
  12. We have lounge chairs around the pool and on our private beach front for your sunbathing pleasure! We also provide beach towels.
  13. Electricity is 110V, and all our suites have blow dryers.
  14. We are happy to book your local airfare on Tropic Air, from and back to Belize Int. Airport. Rate $108.00U.S. pp/rt.
  15. All of the suites have lock away safes for your valuables.
  16. Our office can arrange all of your local and mainland trips daily including, diving, snorkeling, fishing. Maya ruins, Cave tubing, etc.. We have quite an array of fun and exciting trips, just ask!
